Luisa Lopez is a singer-songwriter from Texas. She wrote her first song and sang it acappella probably when she was 11 and has been playing guitar since she was 12. Her influences are old pop, R&B, country, and rock and roll. She moved to Nashville prompted by friends to flush out, in their thoughts, her obvious gift of song. She spent some short-lived time with a now defunct publishing group and went onto form her first band FINNA. She wrote, arranged, and produced their EP and full length album "Protect Me From What I Want". This was not without the wildly catchy chemistry of the band. The album was released in 2005... She currently finished a solo project at Lake Fever Productions called "Cigarettes and other dirges...". They are a handfull of songs about family, God, and smoking. It was produced by Gary Welch of the Katies and co-produced by Luisa. It is on sale now as a digital release! The CD is available at Grimey's Nashville.
